FOX responded, “The pit is fake news, nothing but fake news.”
An evangelical threw the man a Bible; “That’s all you need in your pit.”
An atheist yelled, “There is no God or you wouldn’t be in a pit”
A Baptist asked, “Were you baptized before falling in the pit?”
A New Ager said, “Chanting ‘Om’ is the answer to your pit.”
An herbalist offered, “Oregano will make you feel better in the pit.”
A Pharisee boasted, “Only bad people are in a pit. That’s why I’m not there.”
A Catholic threw the man a rosary; “Mary will get you out of the pit.”
An artist asked, “Can I paint you in that pit?”
A college student inquired, “Is there a safe space in your pit?”
A feminist opined, “All men belong in a pit.”
A bureaucrat muttered, “Do you have a permit to be in that pit?”
A therapist said, “Believe in yourself and you’ll get out of the pit.”
Jesus came by and said, “Here, take my hand, and I’ll help you out of this pit.”
